Hello, Ever since I joined the server I have had to wait several minutes on the "loading terrain" screen, which I didn't see as too much of a problem, though unusual. However, now, I can't even play at all. The "loading terrain" remains there for up to 5 minutes, before I join. When I join, though, everything attempts to catch up at once, resulting in me being kicked by the anticheat, or something client-side. I have tried everything that has come to mind that could fix this, though to no avail. This is the only server I have ever had this problem with. If anyone would have any suggestions, or, anything helpful at all, I will be very appreciative.
I have tried logging in at almost every hour of the day. It has worked during two of them, at the quietest times. Due to my timezone, however, I unfortunately cannot play at that time. It shouldn't have to work like that at all, though. After an hour and a half, I'm just giving up. Somebody, please, do something about this.
This happens to me as well. I think even though it says loading terrain we a technically connected and on the server for most of that time because you can scroll up in chat a few pages.
I haven't had this issue. But I have heard this issue reported in forums and complained about in-game on the server.
As of my attempt to log in right now, I'm still getting the "loading terrain" and then kicked for "too many packets".
This happens to me if i use old or slow laptops but when i use my gaming laptop it just logs me straight in.
I have a 300 dollar laptop and it works fine with minecraft. Use 1.8.9 and try using optifine (Link for 1.8.9: OptiFine Download ) What is optifine? OptiFine HD B5 (FPS Boost, Dynamic Lights, Shaders and much more) - Minecraft Mods - Mapping and Modding - Minecraft Forum - Minecraft Forum
That was at 2am for me. lol I have tried everything that I could think of with my client. Probably best to just leave it until the problem is fixed for now.
