    It is mutation LOOOL
    Cell division/mutation
    Thats what causes evolution
Not all mutation is good, but its proof of mutation.

What about the flu virus? Each year, it "evolves" so much that vaccinations used to treat it the previous year don't recognize it as the same virus. Why? Because it has become more complex. You don't have to believe that species form into other species in order to believe the fact that things do evolve.

Let's evaluate your logic first by defining the differences between scientific studies, and believing religious doctrines:

Science - can be tested, studied, and evolves overtime as humanity becomes more & more intelligent. There's theories, evidence, proofs, facts, and study.
    Ex: evolution

Religion - one's own faith that the words in an ancient literature (Bible) is true. There's no such evidence, study, etc, since it's all in one's belief.

So, you're arguing that there must be a magic "Creator," and that the evolutionist ideas aren't a feasible reality, yet there's no evidence there is a God or not?

You have to understand that religion is simply faith, and nothing else. It cannot be tested, and or evaluated unlike evolutionist theories.
There is no proof or evidence in regards to faith, just as people have faith in the potential reality of the Big Bang Theory.

This is why I think scientific study, as well as keeping an open mind, both make much more logical sense than to simply follow the scripts written in an ancient book by monks in the desert.

Honestly don't know about this one. I feel like there's a god out there, or something as a such, but I don't really think the Bible says the truth about everything. I do think a god created us, but the only way to find out for sure is to walk over into the land of the death, but never to return here.

like I honestly think most of what creationism stand for is bullshit, the only thing I can agree with is that there must be something or someone out there. Who knows maybe aliens? A powerful being.

What if it's a combination of Evolution and Creationism?

Believing in a God ≠ being religious
I've already said that I know religion is faith based, and I've stated that many atheists believe in theories that require just as much faith. What I'm saying is that, just as science can be used to support evolution, it can also be used to support creationism. Again, both sides have unanswered questions and it's highly unlikely that this thread will ever change someone's views.

Pretty much insulting anything that would include a higher Being and saying that anyone who does so is lacking logical thinking.. doesn't appear to be

You took way too much time alone getting these quotes. :Hilarious:

Anyways, I do tend to keep an open mind when discussing this topic. I actually find it very interesting.
However, I stand firmly behind some of my own opinions, as well as the other scientific theories and studies I believe in.

I do not believe a Creator made this planet, of the trillions of other planets out there, and I have no problem expressing such thoughts, etc.
I understand why people such as yourself may think otherwise, hence retaining an open mindset. ;)

Oh, and the quote by Sir Napolean is actually rather accurate according to history. :p

Well, 13 of us sat in a teamspeak thread and went through this thread just laughing at it.

Honestly, no one can make the grammatical and spelling mistakes you do and still be serious. You have to be a troll, so well done.

    Here's the thing.

"Humans did not evolve from apes, gorillas or chimps. We are all modern species that have followed different evolutionary paths, though humans share a common ancestor with some primates, such as the African ape."

We didn't directly evolve from apes, gorillas, and chimps. We share a common ancestor with some primates.
