Not exactly, glass is used for an almost day thing. Sandstone, well, isn't really, but all you have to do to make sandstone is literally use sand.

So Glass and Sandstone are made of Sand, Glass is legal, Sandstone is illegal. To make the "logic" even worse, red sand is legal and can also be made out of normal sand using a converter, so you can make illegally obtained sand legal. People, don't make yourself a fool by trying to defend undefendable rules just because ou are mod and ought to look after the rules respect. If a rule is worthless, far-fetched arguments won't make it a good rule All sand should be legal by now. I can't imagine Island farming has even been made for anything else than dirt, seen the ridiculous amount of sand one can retrieve from each Island.
