I was thinking that it might be useful to implement a /trade feature into the game. I have seen this feature on other servers, and know its possible. Basically what it would do is allow a better way to trade for items, most likely rares and other things that can't be put in a tradeshop. What it does is when you type something like /trade <playername>, it will give the other person the option to make a deal with you. When the window opens up, you each put your items inside that you agreed on, and then if you both click "accept", the trade will happen and you both get the items. You could also use it if someone doesn't know what a certain rare is, and it could be used to show them, and as long as you don't click accept, they can see what it is, but not be able to take it. Anyways I might not be making much sense so here are some screenshots of the system in a server that has this feature. Please let me know what you think of this suggestion down below.
Support! I've seen this plug-in on another server, and it works great. Hopefully there aren't anymore bugs. This might make illegal trading easier, however. It'd be nice if the plug-in has a way of monitoring what goes in and out (ex. not allowing sand to be placed in the trade slots)
I've encountered a system similar to this, and scamming is possible. Put an item in, accept, then quickly take the item out and accept. Im neutral.
You have a good point, although when I was testing it on the server with my alt, I wasn't able to accomplish that. Maybe I was just too slow, but the system seemed pretty reliable and when I tried to "scam" my main account with my alt I wasn't able to.
If there weren't any duplication or scam bugs, I'd be down to have this. Would make my life so much easier.
You can still scam with this system, just to say. I've seen this on other servers, it's not as effective as it sounds. You can click accept, and then when the other person is about to accept, you can quickly remove you're item and accept. I guess some sort of implementation of a cool down would bypass this exploit.
Support. I mean I know you can have a mod trade your rare, but I mean you can't expect all mods to drop what they're doing instantly to do trades for you. I mean they wanna play too.
