Are you tired of people saying LAG all the time? Is it keeping you from terra-forming that island of yours (feel free to /msg me prices) ? Do YOU want to have a more FUN on skyblock.net? Well, these are simple ways of lessening lag :) . (Feel Free To Add more stuff as comments).

    ---Tips---- (These are For Players)
(I got these tips from How to Reduce Minecraft Lag the Most Possible! Minecraft Blog)

    1) Keep graphics on fast (go to esc key, look for video settings, go to graphics - click it until it says fast)
    2) Tell Cypriot he needs more hamsters (hehe)
    3) Go to 3D Anaglyph (go to esc key, look for video settings, go to 3D Anaglyph, Click on it!)

    4) Keep rendering to 2 Chunks! (go find it in video settings)

(rendering - the process of getting an image from a model)

    5) Keep Performance on max FPS
    6) Turn CLOUDS OFF!
    7) Bobbing, GUI (Graphical User Interface), Brightness, are all optional!

    Pyro912's Diagnosis:
Check to see how much RAM (random access memory) you have on your computer! Click your windowskey+ r and type dxdiag. You should see how much RAM you have, and make sure it isn't below the system requirements for Minecraft. You could be simply just be running out of RAM. (This could be applied to servers AND players).

Summary (Correct me if I'm Wrong): In essence, RAM is a type of memory that allows information (games, files, your algebra homework due 2 days ago), to be recalled and to be used by you! RAM also holds protocols that allow you to boot your computer, but the reason why its so important is because it allows us to play skyblock. It also helps your CPU run faster (Intel Core I5, Intel Core I7, etc.). That's the main difference from the flashdrive you have, and this beautiful peace of hardware.

    --Tips--(Server Side)
(I'll write more if you guys want more)

I used these settings on my computer, and I feel it has never ran so smoothly for the past few months. However, this my opinion, and there is the disconnect button for you haters (0_0).

I think this would work for some people and others don't. So heres my guide on upgrading your computer

I think people should just upgrade their GPU (Graphics Card) because something like the Geforce GTX 1050 should be decent instead of upgrading their ram. Plus If your computer only has dual channel DDR2 then you might have to upgrade your GPU instead because most dual channel motherboards supports only up to 4gb or 8 gb of ram. If you have a DDR3/4 then you can upgrade both as much as you can but make sure your motherboard supports the amout of ram. But if you are willing to upgrade your GPU then you might want to also cheak if your PSU (Power supply) if it has enoght voltage for your card. Last of all you could also upgrade your CPU (Processor) If you are using an Intel Inside processor then you will have to get a GPU, becaue the intel HD graphics just won't keep up to modern games including Minecraft. If you use a AMD CPU then you are quite lucky that you don't have to have a graphics card because AMD makes their processors in a APU version which means it's a CPU and a GPU smashed together. but most importantly you should check to see if your motherboard has the right socket model for your CPU and supports the amount of ram that you are willing to upgrade, also check your PSU if its powerful enoght for all the hardware. If you use a Laptop, don't worry. All you have to do is check online if your laptop is supported for the upgrade etc.

I don't think many would waste money to make their PC a beast only so they can play Minecraft.

I don't see how this would fix the lag as the lag is server side not client side.

I highly doubt that all Minecraft player only play minecraft. But especially there are budget hardware everywhere, and second hand used parts for cheaper then MSRP. But best place to snip a deal is on sites like Ebay. Like people play modern titles like Battlefield 1, Call Of Duty infinite warfare, GTA, League Of Legends etc. which requires a beefy computer. If they upgrade their PC they would have a huge access to many games besides Minecraft.

Thats true but if is FPS otherwise then they might need to follow the guide

This is for if you experience lag from your client and pc rather than for the server. I will move the thread to guides as this is more of a guide than a suggestion.
