You might've disliked quite a few of someone's things recently and might've made it look like rate abuse.

 

Rate abuse isn't only spamming someone with ratings it's also giving an undeserved rating.

 

Define undeserved? If I rate someone's post rude because I thought what they said was intended to be rude, then according to what you just said wouldn't that also be considered rate abuse?

If what they said can be considered rude then it is not rateabuse but in this specific situation the rating was completely undeserved and out of the blue.

I agree that if we are punished or warned for something, it would be really nice to know what we did wrong so we can avoid doing it in future.
