I think that there should be a selection where you can do /sb chat public/coop/trust where you can then be transfered into a chat with JUST trusted, cooped, or the public chat. This would be helpful

Yeah, but /msg, /m, /pm, and /r all just private message between ONE person. I want a private message among many people.

Usually, people cooped players who is trustable. If they dont even have any communication with them (using other apps/system). I do not think that they are the player who really knows what /coop is.

  Wow. I know many people (including me) that don't use/have skype, teamspeak, etc. I personally think that using some apps can get pretty sketchy. (speaking from experience. LOL)
  

 

Support, as others stated above you can use skype, teamspeak, etc. Those could work, but that's not necessarily true.
Some people don't have skype and other forms of communication or might not be allowed to use it at all. Also, if you are all playing in game, not everyone can get onto an app/form of communication and call. It would be easier to just simply message them all in-game.
