I accidentally fell off the edge in the starting area and now whenever I join it says "flying is not enabled on this server" and then I have to wait 30 seconds to join again. I've seen some other threads about this but couldn't find anything that helped.

 

What do you mean by the "starting arena"?

 

The area you spawn in before you go to your island

 

Probably spawn. If you can, do /home or /is REALLY quickly.

Just to clarify, do you have an island/home point right now? If so, you should keep trying to join, hit / and then type 'is' and press enter. If not, you will need to get a mod to help you.

You cannot type commands at spawn therefore you need to move forwards and then type the command to leave the area.

 

You need to type /spawn really quickly if you're stuck in the flying glitch at spawn.

That would still take him to spawn.

Yeah I have the same problem.
I even tried using Minechat, but that didn't work either.

 

Try deleting the server and then logging back in after readding it. It worked for me.

 

The anti-cheat was removed, you should not get kicked for flying anymore. If you are still getting kicked, PM an online mod to TP you to spawn.
