I think the reason they're still gone is because so long as Cyp ignores it, there's really no pressing problem other than a minor annoyance from an occasional thread like this one. Better a minor annoyance than a server wide economic crisis. (Not that that would happen, but anything's possible.) Essentially it doesn't really matter to most people, so it's not worth fixing. I personally have always wanted them back as soon as they were fixed, though.
