What I'm suggesting is that the next Mods being promoted with the age of 16+ for maturity reasons. I'm NOT not saying demote the Mods we already have. Please comment down below your thoughts.
No support. The age limit of a Mod should Not, I repeat, Not. Matter. It just depends on the maturity of the player, and if they meet the requirements. (EDIT) I would also like to say that there is no need to use the disagree rating. If you do not like the idea.. Just reply to it. I have given my own idea, If you don't support that. That's fine by me. Thanks.
Sorry but no support. I am a mod on Mineverse and we have plenty of extremely mature mods who are not 16. Maturity is not always based on age.
^^^^ Also, I've come across enough adults, some very old, behaving really childish (me sometimes ) jk I'm mature. Proof: I have a very deep voice and hairs on my chest.
I support this. I want to make this clear, I DO NOT QUESTION the maturity of most mods or applicants. What I do question is their CONTROL of their time. Young children are usually more restricted when it comes to video games and computer access than older children/adults are.
No support. If you're mature enough age shouldn't affect moderation. We've had very young moderators before and they've done well.
No support. I have stated this in applications, but I will say this again. It does not matter about age, since someone can be mature at any age. Most of our mods are under 16, and they are perfectly mature. Take agent, she is the youngest mod (I believe) and has great maturity. It would not be fair to all the players who are under 16 and have a perfect maturity level who are applying and would make a great moderator. The top requirement for moderator IS maturity, not age. A lot of players/mods can be perfectly mature at their age.
What about the control that young kids have over their time? The parents could easily disrupt their moderation.
They would learn from their selves, they should not apply if their parents could "easily disrupt their moderation". Maturity can happen at age 10, while someone cannot be mature that is 17. Age does not matter in moderation situations.
It's kind of funny you're posting this since you aren't very mature yourself. And I don't want skyblock to turn into those servers where you have to be a certain age to apply. No support
No support, maturity ≠ age. There are plenty of older people who are still somewhat immature. Most of the server are teens and not all teens are above 16.
This is totally based on a person's opinion. I understand that there are some exceptions to this. But maturity is gained by experience, and the longer you've been on this planet, the more experience you have. There are young mods like Agent who are doing an excellent job. It depends on the situation. I think everybody deserves a chance at it and ultimately it is up to the admins (and the community) to decide if somebody is mature enough for moderator.
This could also work the other way, As you get older, you are face with more responsibilities such as increased homework levels, and possibly a job irl. I believe 12-15 year olds would *USUALLY* be a lot more active than say an 18 year old. Just putting my opinion out there, but no support to the suggestion.
Agent is one of the most matured staff members, and she is one of the youngest (or is idk) NO SUPPORT.
No support. We should not let age get in the way of maturity. There are many moderators who are young and they don't show that because they are mature. I understand that, for say, an 11 year old might be more restricted with the amount of time spent on a computer but at least they spend time on the server. Age never matters.
I have seen so many immature players over the age of 16. Mods are selected if they have shown they are capable. Time will tell how they go. Age should not play a part if the player is capable. It is not a big deal. People make a huge deal over applications when in reality the staff picked are mostly good fits and will do fine. No support.
