One thing I could be honest about is I feel like Cyp and Noobcrew don't care about us... I mean I think they do it's just we don't see them interact that often ^-^

Lol, really? Friend groups? Why can people not have friend groups? it's perfectly normal to hate one person and love another. Why is that a problem?

 

It's not that I have a problem with friend groups, as you said, liking and hating certain people is fine, but mainly, I've seen that certain groups of friends reject certain people because they're new, not donors, etc. My bad for not clarifying well enough.

Agreed. This server= Pay to win.
But It still fun to earn stuff and build yr own island.

 

Considering that Mojang recently updated its terms regarding the EULA, in which servers were supposed to update and comply with said terms by the 20th of September (Which has passed), the p2w win aspect may hopefully lower it's grasp on skyblock later on.

For those who don't know what those terms stated, allow me to quote a paraphrasing of a small amount which WONT affect Skyblock-

"In June 2014, Mojang posted the rather infamous blog concerning the EULA (some of you might remember it). We at <Ad here> decided to fully conform with these rules as soon as possible and updated our store to do so a few months later. We didn't hear anything from Mojang about it, so we assumed all was well.

Well, Mojang updated their EULA again very recently, and included in this was to ban the use of "Virtual currency", amongst other things which were previously allowed. The EULA is the guidelines that Mojang provide that dictate how we monetize the server - as is their right. Whether you agree or disagree with them on this matter, it's their game."

Keep in mind that I said "Wont".

Of course, I didn't read the full statement that Mojang itself released regarding it, but some of it most likely affected Skyblock. Expect a minor change is my guess, hopefully one that will help out the p2w aspect and make it die off.

Yeah, it did, which kinda pisses me off. I made a thread regarding multiple suggestions of the same thing being posted after someone posted one that caught on, which got me 9 out of 10 of my negatives. People really could just post here, instead of attempting to make a thread similar to this one just for likes.

I honestly feel that I shouldn't have been the one to start this; if you felt strongly about this, you should have grown a pair and made this thread before I did.
