can you make an ice gen without being in the taiga biome? or can you make a man-made taiga biome? or can you just make an ice gen without the taiga biome?

If you do not have an ice biome, have someone coop you and then leave the coop. Wait a few minutes and then start an island. In the time you were without an island, someone else needs to take your old island coords. You cannot make an artifical ice biome and you do need a cold biome in order for an ice generator to work. May I lock this?

 

You can bribe cyp with a bag of white gold and he'll gladly change your biome
