I have never seen so many exceptional qualifications wasted that badly. Supported this applicant purely on the hope they will clean up and explain some of those traits; I can see a lot of golden gleam in that mine tailing.

Obviously very passionate about applying but does not stand out from the other posts very much. With a little better descriptions on why he is qualified for the position this could be a solid application.

Personally I liked it; looking forward to seeing the edits.

Extremely well written with very few mistakes. Definitely knows how to showcase the best of his skills and how they would apply to being a staff member. Should probably be required reading for anyone thinking about applying for a position.

Not sure what to think here. Lists a lot of generic, run-of-the-mill qualities and doesn't both explain why any of them matter to a future Moderator. Support? Question mark...?

Very middle of the road application by Ms. Chicky. Doesn't stand out too much either way, good or bad. With some rewrites and a better focus this could be a nice application; it has that "feel" of something that could make it.

I have never seen someone shoot themselves in the foot that hard in the opening of a job application. I am seriously impressed; if not for a previous relationship with the staff/owner this application would be one long, hilarious anecdote on tilting at windmills.

Honestly pre-existing relationships matter almost as much as job experience. Mr. Girls in all likelihood will be promoted back into the staff team... but it won't be because of how well this application was written.

Not a bad application, but a little all over the place. Needs to consolidate some ideas into good, hard-hitting qualifications and this would be a better than average post. At the moment it is a bit like vanilla ice cream.

This is a pretty good template for how to anxiously write an application while pointing out your own flaws. As a person PlzNo comes across as pretty humble (almost irritatingly so). However as a job applicant to a pretty intense community role with a lot of backlash I can't say he has the self-confidence to handle the job.

Good thing I'm not in charge of promotions, right?
