ChatControl was added today along with the Mob Arena. However there is a way to bypass ChatControl's swear filter by simply putting _ before it.

Therefore I am suggesting the old filter to be re-added.

 

LOL they use mv's chat filter? That's so easy to bypass, and it works very bad.

like lets assume "Darn" is censored, so whenever you type Damn it filters it with D*** or **** but people can bypass the filter by putting "_" before it and it would be like that "_Damn" and wont get filtered

 

Just because you can easily bypass the new filter doesn't mean it's rubbish, it just needs tweaking that's all.

I did some changes to the filter yesterday.

The new chat filter is essential for mob arena to be re-added to prevent users going into God Mode so it's either removing Filter along with MA or keeping both and I'd rather keep both..

Although, even though it is easier to bypass the new filter, its not like with the old filter there was no swearing. There were still ways that I saw people bypassing the filter such as replacing a letter with a number, or just taking out one letter and you still knew what word they were trying to say. I agree with Cyp that it would be better to keep both rather than get the old filter back and remove mob arena.
