DISCLAIMER: I don't think this is a necessary feature at all. So out of all honesty, I don't see it getting far, but I do think it's still a useful feature.

Why not have a feature available for all players, /afk.

When typing /afk, players who message someone who has types /afk, will be greeted by an automated message by "This player is AFK" or such. Then when someone who has typed /afk, has left and then came back, they can type /unafk to return.

Perhaps this idea could do with some tweaks, I'm not sure, but I'd love it to become a feature. This feature would probably be slightly different from the afk system that staff use, so it may cause so interference in many ways, such as commands being identical on both plugins, yet doing different things.

    >>>>> NOTE: After some response, I want to clarify that the "This player is AFK" message, is a direct pm reply, it wouldn't appear in global chat. So it won't cause spam in global chat. Sorry for any confusion. <<<<<

i would prefer to leave this as a mod-only feature. it would be extremely spammy.

meh neutral, never seemed to need it, but for others who would I guess it would be cool. Im pretty sure its mainly for Mods because if everyone had it, there would be alot of things in chat saying (THIS PERSON) Is Afk and it would like spam chat. but again... meh :>

There is not much point. I dont think we need to know if a player is AFK or not.

It's a mod-only command because whenever a player needs a Mod, they'll need to know which Mod is afk, and which mod isn't. Other players having it will spam chat, and they don't really need it.

I'd prefer if it stuck to a mod-only command, it would make chat spammy.
For donors 50+ you can just set your nickname to: (name)_afk.
    Example: Dough_Afk

No support sorry. I agree with everyone else, it should just be a mod-only command.

I don't really feel it is necessary for players to have. The way you want it set out would mean something custom.

No support. The reason why only mods have it, is because when people need help, they should know they're AFK. And for the rest of us, there's this thing call and AFK pool, or just say it in chat. But please don't say it when you're gonna be gone for a short amount of time. Maximum 5 minutes?

People would do /Afk constantly just to spam. I believe that's why we don't have it anymore.

I've seen similar concept that's been used on another server, but I do have to agree it would be unnecessary and maybe to much of a hassle to implement for its usefulness. Yet again, I think it could be a cool tiny addition.

Guys, I get it's not a very nessesary feature, but the fact is that a lot of you are critisiing for spam. "NOTE: After some response, I want to clarify that the "This player is AFK" message, is a direct pm reply, it wouldn't appear in global chat. So it won't cause spam in global chat." Sorry for any confusion. Just want to clarify this once more.

Even if this were to be implemented, I'd prefer it be for higher level donors instead of the general public, as they tend to receive more messages whilst away, similar to staff. However, this isn't really needed.

Say if I message Bob hello, and he is set to /afk, an automatic message, saying he's afk, will be privately messaged back to me.
