I'm new to the server, and I'd just like to ask what the difference is between .net and .org. Thanks!
Skyblock.net doesn't have proper money as currency, it has blocks/items for currency and grass blocks as the main currency. Skyblock.org has /bal which means it has proper skybucks. Have you got anymore questions you would like to ask? c:
.net has spam and stuff like that. It's basically cancer. .org is the opposite, yet nobody goes on it. It's basically cancer. ya.
Survival (skyblock.net) is a more vanilla server, using grass, and diamonds as currency. Economy (skyblock.org) is more a realistic server, using /bal (/balance) money. If you want something new to to skyblock.net, but if you want to be on a friendly community skyblock.org is your place.
Net is the survival server, with generally more players than its economy counterpart (org). As Net is more survival based, there is no set form of currency, relying more on a barter system, in which diamonds, grass, gold nuggets and iron are seen as acceptable standards of trade. The server is more focused on the survival and trading aspect than economy. Players enjoy this server more because the economy is wildly player-based, rather than assigned by the server shop. Org is economy based, and so there is server money to be earned by selling items to players and the server shop. Because it is more centered around making money, farming is more important on this server than it is on survival, with players spending more time farming crops, grinding mobs, etc. than they do trading with each other and surviving in Minecraft. There are less players on this server because the economy is kind of messed up.
