It's not just Mexicans, I even referenced the Syrian refugees. He wants to ban Muslims from parts of the world rampant with terrorism. It's a matter of national security that no one wants to talk about. While I don't agree with discriminating based on someone being a Muslim, since you can always just lie, his attitudes toward actually addressing the problem I feel will help us reach an actual solution that likely won't even be the proposed one. If you're gonna cite shock therapy, a) no one uses shock therapy anymore, it's been disapproved by the APA, and b) he advocated for people "wanting to change their sexual behavior." It was consensual. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean someone can't do it themselves. Regardless, as shown at the debate, Trump doesn't agree with Pence on a lot of things and Pence has very minimal power, especially over Trump himself. Also, as for the "grabbing" portion, I'm not defending sexual harassment, but he already said he didn't do it and apologized. This was recorded from behind closed doors, and back then he was just a normal celebrity. He was just bragging to his friends in private. At the end of the day, Trump is president regardless of what we think about it. To be honest, I don't like a lot of the reactions to the election: riots from both sides, people being rude to everyone in general, my teachers cancelling classes. It's all just chaos and the country is so unnecessarily divided. Although I'm still waiting on Amy Schumer to leave, hmph.
