Hello, what's up? Welcome to my application for mod, my name is Eunice irl and I am currently 13 years old. Feel free to leave feedback down below, whether or not it's supportive, it is still highly appreciated. I am very passionate in what I do, and it definitely includes this application. Thank you for taking your time in reading my application, now let's get straight into this. Your in-game name: My ign is euniceee, though my /nick is Chicky. I'm mostly known as "Chicky" as my previous username was once Chickyquack11. What timezone are you in? UTC+8:00 What country do you live in? I currently live in Hong Kong. What languages do you speak? I speak fluent English, Mandarin. I know a limited amount of Cantonese, Taiwanese. Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes/No Yes. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I have Gyazo for screenshots and quickTime Player for recording. Why do you think you should become a mod? I am sure, that being a moderator is not an easy job and can get quite stressful at times, but I am up for the challenge in handling the responsibility of being a moderator. Dealing with multiple issues and problems that other players may have. I make sure that I am the best of myself when I am given a task to do, and you have my word that it will stay the same when it comes to moderating, it shows my commitment and passion to the community. Everyday, I see people seeking for help, or wanting to know how to get back to /survival, and sometimes there are only a few players online, sometimes afk. I remember the first time I joined .org, I got quite anxious, as I thought I lost everything I built on /survival. I restarted my minecraft, laptop and even deleted minecraft and tried re-downloading it. After a while of asking in chat, I finally got back to /survival. Often, I see new players in the same position as I was. Anyways, going back on track, here are some traits I hold; Truthful: Lying is never the solution to the problem, which is why I try to be as truthful as possible everyday. Feel free to ask me anything, and I'll be genuinely truthful with you. Unbiased: I treat and respect every player the same, and that includes non-donors, donors, skygods, friends. I believe that being fair is very essential when it comes to moderating. Especially when I am dealing with situations where people have broken the rules. I listen to both sides before coming to a conclusion. Open-Minded: Yes, I may only be 13 years old, but I have been through times definitely in my life where I have to stand up for others, myself even. I can handle things in a grownup way and think about the bigger picture. I won't hesitate to show my side of opinion, I stand up for what I believe in. Patient: Patience is a great trait to have, especially for a moderator. I demonstrate this everyday in my life everyday irl and online. I answer questions that players without any skyblock experience may have in chat. Some things take time, which is why I take time to explain myself. Kind: I am a very kind and approachable person in general. I enjoy being nice to others, it's a start to new conversations, friendships, and definitely a start for gaining trust. Being kind to other players instead of being rude to them is definitely important when it comes to moderating, as it keeps all the players in a more positive mood. Encouraging: This isn't a trait that most people hold. I, myself, simply love it when someone compliments me, it's a good feeling to know that I've done a good job hence why I try to encourage others. I want others to know how warm it feels. I've been through ups and downs in my life, but I've always had a friend whom I can count on to cheer me up, and I've learned to be that person. So if you ever have any concerns or anything you want to talk about, feel free to inbox me and I'll be there for you. Timezone Advantage: I live in Hong Kong, meaning that my timezone is very different from the people living in the U.S. Which I believe that would be a great addition to the server. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Monday ~ Wednesday; Around 1 - 3 hours. Thursday ~ Friday; 1 - 4 hours. Saturday ~ Sunday; 1 - 6 hours. *Note; Please keep in mind that this is just an estimation. How long have you been playing Skyblock? I joined this server during November 14th, 2015 and joined forums during December 2nd, 2015 as Chickyy. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Forums; Chickyy was banned as it was an alt account. In-Game; Nick abusing & advertising. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I was a co-owner on a friend's server for a while until the server got shut down due to not having enough funds. I was a moderator on a small server that had around 30 people per day until I resigned due to school and some other personal issues. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes/No Yes. Thank you once again for taking your time in reading my application. Please, do not hesitate to give me any constructive criticism, they are all well appreciated.
