Hi there and welcome to my Moderator Application. Any feedback or suggestions is greatly appreciated. My name is J, and I am 15 years old. I like to listen to music, watch TV shows, play hockey and play video games. I love this server, since I find the community incredibly chill and find it easy to get to know everyone.

I speak English and Tagalog (mother tongue) fluently, and I am currently taking my second year of Spanish.

Yes, I do have 2FA enabled.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
Yes, I have Gyazo to take screenshots but I’m planning on getting a screen recorder software sometime in the future.


Why do you think you should become a mod?
I think I should become a moderator on .org because I play on this server frequently and help out whenever I can. Sometimes, whenever I’m online - there is people seeking for a moderator's help or just spamming in all capitals. I would like to change this, as I feel that my timezone could help the server out severely.

Traits I have:

• Active: I am extremely active within this server, as .org is my go to place for procrastinating. I have a lot of free time as school exams is no longer my number one priority and there’s nothing else to watch in Netflix. Those who know me are concerned for my health, due to the fact that I’m always online on .org and never with them on .net.
  
  
• Trustworthy: I think the people who know me would all agree to the fact that I am trustworthy. I don’t spread rumors or lies, and keep everyone’s personal information private.
  
  
• Good Listener: I listen to people's problems and pass them onto a moderator for him/her to help them. Usually, when people ask for help, I drop what I'm doing and help them as soon possible.
  
  
• Observant: I'm observant because of the way I look at the chat. Even though the .org is reasonably quiet during some days, there is still a few instances where people would spam, bypass pwnfilter, or type in all capitals just because a mod isn’t online. With my help, I can kick or mute these players.
  
  
• Unbiased: I treat everyone equally. Friend or not, it doesn’t matter. I’ll perform my moderating duties either way and make it as fair as possible.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
During the weekdays, I can be active for about 2-3 hours, depending on how busy I am. But during the weekends, I can be active for approximately 3 hours, or longer depending on my social life. (‘:


How long have you been playing Skyblock?
This January would be my anniversary of 2 years playing in the Skyblock community, but I have been playing on Skyblock.org ever since the reset in 2015. I know it’s not that long, but I’m familiar with all the rules and (hopefully) gotten to know mostly everyone.


Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)
Unfortunately, yes. I have been banned once for helping collect griefed items on skyblock.net. However, this is not going to affect me or my moderating as I’ve learnt from my mistakes. After the incident in 2015, I have followed the rules and made sure never to break them.


Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes, I do have past experiences as a moderator. I’ve moderated on several of my friend’s servers. Although I know basic commands only, I am eager to learn new things, so learning all the commands won't be much of a big deal for me.


Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes/No
Yes, I do meet the requirements to be a staff member in Skyblock.org.

Never clicked support any faster in my life. but, one thing is you get a bit out of hand around some friends, but i'd love to see you as a mod. ;3

Sorry if you find me racist, and nasty. Yes I know that sometimes, what I say could seem really sarcastic, but it doesn't define who I am. I don't mean it to be, but sometimes what I say really do seem that way, but I genuinely don't mean it to sound like that. It's a problem that I'm going through, and I sincerely apologize if I have offended you or anyone in any way. I'll try to improve my maturity in terms with what you claim to be racist and nasty. I'll ensure you that no more vulgarity would be heard from me. Once again, I apologize, and I hope I become in great terms with you in the future.

J is a teenager who just wants to have fun on this minecraft server. She is dedicated, and most of us believe that she should be a mod and she would do it very well. Since you don't know her personally, you shouldn't just make assumptions of who she is.

 

It's okay, I understand. People have different opinions, and I respect that. As mentioned before, I'll try and change my ways. Thank you for the constructive criticism.
