Hi, I often play online with my brother but when I tried to log in this morning I get a message saying "Kicked whilst connecting to survival: Too many players with your ip address online!" We are both 100 donors so have certainly done our bit in supporting the server but now we can't play together. Can this be fixed please. Thanks, Gekkity.
Mentioning that you're a donor doesn't do anything. Restart your game and if that doesn't work, try to restart your computer.
I think this was implemented ahead of the halloween drop party to stop people from logging in with 10 alts. If that is the case it should be fixed by next week, after the event.
Nothing to do with PC's, there is a new no alt plugin. Now people who live together can not play together. Drogo has been playing with his family for along time and now, can't. There is a fair bit of chat in game, people now can't play with brothers and sisters. At a time where everyone is talking about the server going down hill, this is not a good thing. Drogo is a donor 100 and, believes this DOES mean something, at the very least, Drogo should be able to play with family.
I don't agree with turning it on this early... I don't know why that happened. Sadly people had to ruin previous drop parties by getting on with a bunch of alts to get more prizes. Your family will have to resort to turning off wifi on your phones, and log in with minechat for the party
That is an option Drogo has considered, and to some extent, it makes the plugin pointless. Drogo has about 10 ios devices, so If Drogo had alts, he would need only to install a VPN on each device.
Cyp should have added it just in time for the drop party as people now have time to work around it. See Drogo's post above. Also it doesn't only target alts, it targets all who share IP's
I tried asking him to turn it off until just before the party, but he's away so I won't expect anything soon
Thanks for you replies. I will see if I can borrow my mums mobile phone for the drop party cause i don't have one. The plug in is now only stopping us from playing together. Hopefully Cyp will be able to turn it off soon.
i just got kicked because of this a moment ago as well and i thought it would of been because of my friend for sending me his server ip 2 times and i just wanted to unlock my island for my brother on minechat but i was wondering how long i will be kicked for because i want to be on while my brother gets donor100 today i tried restarting and everything but still nothing i hope this problem gets fixed as soon as possible
Just change the ip, gods sake people. Get your brother to use a VPN if that is too hard. Download a program that automatically hides your ip if you cannot yourself.
use a vpn + minechat to go on the server with more than one account for the drop party, you only need to be online to win items
