im assuming somebody would need to make a new island and take your old islands place or it might not work
Well it may take a while to find the right biome that you want though you may be able to buy one from someone. Perhaps make a thread that you are buying one?
On .NET or .ORG? Net it a lot easier to get new biomes if you are using the correct technique whereas org is basically impossible unless you wait long periods of time before creating a new island.
You are correct. Someone has to take that vacant coordinate for the server to add another one. To get the right biome you want you have to lose your island and periodically check coordinates with the new island. A simple way to do this is to join/leave a coop, /new island, check F3, repeat until satisfied. This process could take a while, several hours at least. Or advertize in chat/forums which island biome you want, and then buy it from the current owner.
I know a site that create alts and able to create new island to overtake the onces you dont want. BUT too bad i cant advertise it as the site is a MC server and ppl can use it to abuse and spam our servers on NET you can goto players island and ask if they are willing to sell it . on ORG almost impossible to ask player to sell
This should be in the help section really. There are multiple ways for you to get a new biome. 1. Buy an island from someone else. 2. Stay in someone's coop for a while and then create a new island (This worked for me) 3. Ask Cyp to change your biome. This one is probably the least affective one because Cyp will probably only do it whenever he is not busy with anything and he is usually a very busy man these days. Sarge, hang on. I just want to explain why he cannot get a biome. When you first make an island, (/newisland), you get a pair of co-ords for your island. Once you've got those, they stick with you, even if you keep on doing /newisland replace, it won't work. You'll keep on having the same co-ordinates. If you wish to change your co-ordinates, then you either need to 1) Buy a new island with the biome you want. 2) Join someone's coop for a while, then when a new player has created their first island, you will be able to create a new one with a new set of co-ordinates as they have taken your other pair, so you need to leave the coop (/coop leave), then create a newisland. 3) This one is very unlikely, CypriotMerks can change biomes, but he rarely does it, and usually only does it for Donors250, and Donors400. Hope this answers a bit of your question.
You need to do the following: 1) Do /newisland replace, check if it's the biome you want 2) If not, join a coop, and leave it in 15 minutes with /coop leave 3) Do /newisland again and see if it's the biome you want, otherwise repeat 4) Make sure to clear your inventory and armor while doing this otherwise it'll be lost Good luck
