Exactly, I've rated old mod apps support as a joke

Just saying just cause the person that was rated was an ex staff member doesn't give them special privileges. blaq.

Okay looks like I have a fair amount of stuff to respond to/clear up.

blaq was wondering how I found this post:

I wander through the ancient threads in the discussion section when I'm bored. The day that I gave this rating, I rated about 10 other posts that were a year old or more. (This was the only negative one, which is why anyone cared). I have fun looking at my posts and stuff from when I was a mod etc.
I wasn't trying to witch hunt Pile, if that's what you assumed. Tbh I had forgotten she even existed until I saw this thread.

So the post in question is here: All of a sudden there is a need for a forums mod? | Skyblock Forums

I gave the 3rd post in that thread a dislike. Pile said:
"Wow... if this turns into a hate thread I will lock this."
I thought this was overly negative considering someone just asked a question; so, I disliked it.

It wasn't a staff decision at all. It was just Pile giving her opinion of a thread. She wasn't required by the staff to make that post, or consult anyone about that post.

Blaq is right that I only got a warning point for that.

As for the 3 day ban, the mod who punished me didn't identify themselves, or tell me what I did.

I heard it was Krissy from Zephyr, but it's not confirmed.

Sooo yeah. if there's any more clarification I can give to anyone just ask.

It's not against the rules. And if it is, Cyp hasn'5 said it and it's not in the actual rules. Mods need to stop making up rules smh

Earlier it was said that that was a staff decision, which I don't think it is
    Just a comment

Okay sorry for my kinda double post, but I just saw this.
    1) I explained in post above how I found it ^ it actually was by chance.
    2) again explained above why it wasn't a staff decision. I'm not exactly sure how it can be considered one.
    3) keyword "response"
Blaq, I didn't respond to anything I just gave a rating. That's not mentioned in any form of gravedigging rules.

Well we have it confirmed now that it's not grave digging from 2 smods and yet 2 smods still seem to disagree. Even RobloxianRoblox said that he'll contact Cyp if need be.

And if it were a positive rating, no one would have cared even. Go look back on old accepted mod applications and if you still believe in this rule, I request that you ban every single one of them for 3 days.

If not you are litterally being biased to the max.

And let's say that Cyp does confirm that it's not 'punishable', then does that mean Hoecobo gets something out of it at least for the time he did? Like a get out of jail free card?

If it's not punishable, I'd like to see a demotion. Staff ignorance like this is intolerable

Guys, we're going back and forth back and forth repeating the same things. The question is, what is the course of action?

Demotion or punishment to the banning moderator please. All we are waiting for is Cyp to approve it's not illegal to grave dig with a rating.

    The way I see it:

Grave digging brings the post to the top of a list. Most people don't want to see it, and so grave digging is not allowed.
Rating something doesn't do that, it only gives a notification to the person who received a rating.
Regardless if they rated a staff decision or a regular player, they used the rating system as it was intended to be used for.

    I don't see a problem here.

Unfortunately the most likely outcome here is this thread will be closed, cyp will never see it, and nothing will ever happen.
