    This made me laugh tbh.
Ratings abuse for rating a post with an honest opinion? Really?

Different mods handle things differently I suppose. That may have not been the way I would have handled it (if I am hearing correctly from your point of view), but did you ever make a conversation with him?

If mods see and handle things differently, doesn't that prove that the "team" is a bit... disfunctional? I mean... you say it isn't grave digging then another mod says it is? You all need to sort that out, because it just means a player can be punished for something, whereas a player doing the same thing but being handled by a different mod will get a different outcome, which would just cause confusion and then the mods can be seen as being bias. There needs to be small rules within a system of big rules.

I'd like to note that mods are supposed to all be on the same page, but will never be on the same page. Because moderators do what ever they want. it makes them corrupt. Just saying, Lemo might of not warned you for liking a post over a year ago, but he's done some uneasy things. Mods need to learn how to talk to someone rather than just straight up punish them or by making up their own rules.

Not debating with you; but since that incident, I actually have been talking to people instead of warning them. I'm not saying I haven't done "uneasy things," but I do agree that being on the same page would definitely not hurt

With Blaq? Or Exstatisfy? I made convos with both.

Anyways, my main point is that rating old posts isn't against the rules. And I just get banned if I complain or make a report.

The short of the long is that a negative rating was placed on a moderator decision from a long time ago on a staff that's no longer a staff since. The recipient reported the rating and asked it to be taken down.

The staff that handled it at that time asked my opinion, and I stated that mod decisions should not be rated, and that they should be warned not to do so in the future.

The person who rated the thread continued to harass various staff about the issue and threatened to report them. I handled the report with a verbal warning. Subsequently another staff applied the 3 day ban.

If you look at what constitutes the essence of gravediggers it's that an individual "digs" up a thread that would otherwise be dead aka in the "grave". By rating a thread that's over a year old for no apparent reason, a player is essentially attempting to bring up something that's past for whatever reason. And that's not allowed. If gravedigging was limited in the sense to just posting on old threads, then there would be many other potential ways or loopholes in which to "dig" up old threads.

Can you provide evidence so you can backup your words, please.

    1) He wasn't specifically searching for this thread, he happened to come accross it
    2) He did not rate it for no apparent reason, he disagreed with what the post said. Is this not the point of a ratings system?
    3) He in no way was attempting to bring the thread back up. It's not gravedigging unless he actually did bring the thread back up, which he did not, he simply rated something the way that he felt it should be rated

If it was a positive rating, nobody ever would of said anything, and it never would of been considered rating abuse. He violated no rules as it is absolutely outrageous to consider this rating abuse

It might help to link the thread here if you can, so we can all see it?

Hoecobo can you specify which post it was on that thread?
