Okay, so this is going on around the whole freaken server.
Listen, nothing lasts forever. At one point something will die.

This is an old server and although there are not much people as a year ago, keep calm..

You can prevent this, or you can let it die...

Now, the first optional is to broadcast the server, the more the better..
You can also be nice to greenies, as they are the next generation of skyblock players.
Basically ways like this..



If you tell greenies to go kill themselves, chances are they would quit.
If you troll a lot, chances are people will quit.


The thing I hate the most..

This bothers me a lot, the mods legit spend hours
of their day, just to help people..

No, they don't get payed, they do it because they want to..
If people say that the reason skyblock is dying because of the mods, then they clearly don't know what skyblock is...

Tbh, lets stop worrying about this and actually do something. We can't complain if we aren't trying.

Though it's hard to do things while not being the owner, spend time working with no donors, advertise the server places, make YouTube or twitch videos about it. Get the population back instead of blaming the mods for everything.

 

So true. The server needs to stop worrying about the end and enjoy the now. I'm going to try to change my attitude on this as I know in the past I've acted pessimistic for the future.

Just like real life.

 

i mean as mean as we are to the moderators sometimes, you do have to admit that they take a couple hours out of their daily life just to help with the server. it's pretty nice and i appreciate that they do what they do.

but really, there's no legit problem about it. the old players keep leaving, and new players come in. there's not a lot of them, but it's not our choice to say they should join and play. if it dies, then let it die. donations don't just keep coming in, they die off.

In refutation to this, interestingly a lot of the moderators don't see Skyblock as anything more than a game, which leads to the dissatisfaction of the player base. I agree on the fact that Skyblock will die without proper recognition, but is that up to the players or the moderators to fix?

 

Also, when the mods ignore you in game... The mods started to talked about love and play with their friends. (I will not name any mods) The mods are also started to be less helpful since they are off-topic. "The helping greenies part" is up to us. I think The Cyk753 is doing a very good job of helping players.

 

Why exactly do you, in the title, call people talking about the server nonsense however in the suggestion you make suggestions to stop it? You just did it yourself.

I may of made a threat about it, but I'm referring to the people in-game or in forums that say ''Skyblock is gonna die''

This is true, although Minecraft isn't going to last for the next generations.
Eventually Minecraft is going to die out.. (People might be talking about it, but not played by less and less people).



Skyblock is a niche market, so this is entirely possible. My question to you is: Why does it matter? Do you have a personal interest in the server, sir? This isn't an attack; I can tell you are a bit passionate here. But if (when?) the Skyblock server closes what are you personally losing?

I've met lot's of amazing people on the server.
For some, that's how I communicate to them.

You might be asking, ''then give them your phone number''.
I can't give my phone number to many people, it would be an overload.

In the end, yes I am losing something, which are my friends..
-This also has big impacts on others, some of which live by the server, others who spend their time building and making complicated redstone devises.

(Ps: I don't own Ts, Skype, etc..)

I created the first one and people started agreeing with me and everything, and then a bunch of people created more and more.

 

the server is going to die just like everything eventually dies. just get over it lmfao @ everyone
