So as CavemanBen suggested, I decided to create a thread of which I am not expecting much to amount from but it still would be interesting. So basically I'll be attempting to explain a concept or answer any questions you have about a subject. I am currently in 11th grade IB so I should be able to help out some/most of you. Though remember each school curriculum is different so who knows if I learned what people in England for example learned but I thought I'd give it a shot. Here's what I request for a format (this is an example):

    Subject: Math
    Concept: Multiplying fractions
    Current grade/year (optional): grade 10
Extra notes: Could someone explain to me with an example of how to multiply fractions. One of my homework questions is 10/14 * 2/3. Please help!

Once someone fills in that format, anyone on forums can answer. Please keep this thread well tempered and on topic.

I'm not expecting this thread to amount to much but who knows. I'll always be trying my best to explain the concept and not just answer the question because then you aren't learning anything.

    Our teachers so far:

Cheesy - Will attempt to do anything grade 11 and below or even harder questions if need be. Can help with Canadian history as I am Canadian. As well as French (fully fluent) and Spanish (semi fluent).

    Sam: History, especially WW2
    Hemroid: 8th Grade Mathematics
archerexpert777: 12th Grade Mathematics (Math III for you Americans) and History.
Natalia: English (Guessing 9th grade and below?)

You can also pm us English people and we can read over and correct application if you guys to want!

I can help out in some chemistry and of course English Grammar and Writing. Math as well but you are more advanced than me. I am homeschooled in America, so I can provide a different perspective and help with stuff like american history.

Going on what Cheesy said, please, if you want to answer, make sure you can explain the concept and not just google the answer.

Some people need extra help with homework or a school concept because they don't have a good teacher or just plain don't understand.
My tip for ELA is just be creative with it. You usually can't help someone else write something but as long as you follow the guidelines to the story, just write anything you can't think of. Perhaps write about the current clown 'crisis'?

Is this a joke or would you actually like me to explain this concept to you?

No, as I said I will be explaining the way to solve the homework to someone if needed not finish their homework for them. As I said in my example on my first post.

Please try to keep the posts on topic about homework and not telling me this won't work. If it doesn't work as I said let the thread die.

Actually I requested that you stayed on topic about homework, as in if you actually fill out the format and ask a question ABOUT school work.

If you have such a big problem with it, leave. I don't want you here and you've made it clear that you don't want to be here either.

    Subject: Math
Concept: Simple Trigonometry - Finding angles and sides (Worded Questions) [I understand the basics of it but the worded trickier questions bug me.

Well basically this. Just remember the difference between cosine, tan and sine.

And always remember that the hypotenuse is always the longest of the 3 dimensions and that every triangle is equal to 180 degrees.

And see everyone who thought this was a bad idea. We are explaining how to get the answer but not finishing homework for them.

Good luck on the exam Nikoshka :)

Don't believe I can help you there. And I doubt this is the level of math you are currently doing :/

    What's your question about that?
Give it a couple years. Math HL is... intense.
Also, be careful with AAS triangles (as in, you're given two angles and a non-inclusive side). If you use the above strategies, more than one triangle is possible.
