believe there should be a rule that prevents post-farming on suggestion threads. I see people often say only the word "support" and sometime they add a little smiley face like "support " on suggestions they agree with while there's a rating that says exactly the same thing. I mean you guys added this new rating and yet you dont even use it since most of people just say "support" instead of rating the thread support or no support edit : only if you have something important say it because all these "support" posts are making it hard to see the good posts that aren't only "support" and they actually say something important
No support Usually if I just say support or no support to something it means that all that I would have said has already been justified by another person. But usually then I would say reasons stated above or such.
No support this is stupid if people wanna leave a note saying it not just like voting support then should be able 2 lol,
Agreed. There is a way to make it so regardless of reply length, it will not add to your post count. If someone is just going to say "support" out of convenience, they may as well take an even easier route and just leave a simple rating. Don't mind everyone saying no support by the way; people are reluctant to change- especially when it is for the better.
On MV we have a minimum character count on posts. If you try to just post one word you get a pop-up letting you know you need to type more for you message to post. While I thought this would solve the issue of LQ posts users just found ways to bypass it using a text doc. Post Farmer's will post farm. It's just part of the forum mechanic. If you see someone post farming by spamming a certain section of the forums with one word posts or by any other means you can always report it. That's what staff are here for.
Nah. No Support. I mean, yea, I get what you mean. But honestly I agree with what Cheesy said I guess its up to the staff to determine whether someone is post farming or not.
No support, also for people with low post counts anyway they cannot use the rating option (which for some reason I can't either, even though I have more than 25 positive ratings) and if I support something I must physically write my opinion
You're saying you shouldn't be allowed to say support or no-support without giving a reason. You did that on my application and I'm still waiting on a reason lol. Oh, and no support sorry. Reasons stated above.
