Source? Rumors already spread with SpongeBob and they officially tweeted about them making new episodes as we speak.

Don't really care for Regular Show, but Adventure Time was always good when I watched it.
Also your statement of "At least we still have Teen Titans Go", well that Teen Titans show crumbles on the ground compared to the original, so idk about the "at least we still have it"

Adventure Time seems a little weird to me, but it's watchable.
Regular Show literally fits at least 2/3 of my life (at least, I like to think so)
As for the last part, yes, completely agree. I didn't even watch the original and I still cringe.

I just found regular show to be weird because of the randomness it brought forth. I was always one for fantasy books and video games, so that's probably why I like Adventure Time more

Throughout the internet, like IGN. I think it's pretty valid these shows are getting discontinued within a few years time.

Pretty sure this is actually true, at least for Regular Show

I always liked Regular Show because it was so unique. The beginning would be a cliche setup, like two slacker find a keyboard. Then, sometimes even in a split second, it would change from a regular to Regular Show, i.e. the keyboard could control someone's mind.

One of my favorite examples of this would be the episodes with CJ and Margaret. One second CJ is pissed because Mordecai invited two girls to the same movie! Oh no! ... and then she turns into a storm cloud and there's a thunder storm inside the coffee shop that is literally CJ, she turned into a cloud, what

I think my ABSOLUTE favorite example of this was the graffiti episode. There was an exact second where it turned. At the beginning, Mordecai and Rigby are looking for a guy who keeps vandalizing the park. When they manage to sneak up on him from behind, he turns around ... revealing that he is actually just a human-sized spray paint can... then he sprays a portal into the wall and jump through it with Mordecai and Rigby in hot pursuit.

See? It makes no sense, but that's the great part. It breaks away from the clichés and establishes itself as not just a regular show, but Regular Show, and for that I applaud it.

I haven't even watched those shows all the way through yet, just through seasons 2 or 3. It's such a shame that these brilliant shows could be canceled, but I guess it was for the greater good.

It's really not, though. Regular show is still consistent, it just finished up a cool dome story arc... I don't see how ending it benefits anyone.

Well, like with Gravity Falls, the writers and creators did not wants to run out of ideas, especailly since the shows have run so long. Would you be upset if Adventure Time went bad and had horrible, uninspired episodes, or if Adventure Time got canceled before that could happen. I've come up with an analogy, but I'd rather not speak it since it might trigger some people WHATEVER you get the idea I've just been babbling about nonsense

    Love Regular Show.
It's where I got my IGN. I'll be sad when it does finally end.

Why do they have to end all of the good shows?

Not at all like Gravity Falls.

With Gravity Falls, Alex Hirsch said to Disney "Hey, I want to end this show on my own terms" and actually came up with an ending.

All of Regular Show's final episodes were produced under the assumption that there would be more, but when the season was over, Cartoon Network was like "Yeah, about that..." It isn't going to have a proper ending like Gravity Falls did. If it were J.G. Quintel's choice, I would respect that, but forcing a show to end even though it's still going strong just because CN doesn't want to keep paying for it is BS.

Sad thing is I never really watched any of these shows. Never seen regular show, seen a bit of gravity falls and adventure time, but really that's not my thing.

Also doesn't help when you're the kid that still used VCR until he was like 12 years old.

Though I can't say I didn't love having a system that movies didn't skip when you scratch the disc.

But now a days everyone has Netflix or other online ways that are amazing. I'm still basically in the disc era and have only watched a Netflix show with RagePaint

And notice how fast I get off topic <\3
