Hello everyone, I am here to inform you if you haven't heard already that tradeshops have been temporarily disabled. I am not exactly sure why tradeshops are disabled, but some players might know the answer to this question. You have to trade manually at the moment, that means there could be more scams going on since you cannot tradeshop scam. I recommend not to trade anything until tradeshops are enabled since you can get very easily scammed unless you are recording. That is my opinion in case, but this was just a note that they're disabled. Reminder: Please look in the comment section because there is very important information or tips about this.
Please also make sure to remove all tradeshops or place lockettes on them as trusted players can access your items in there. There have already been multiple reports on this.
I don't play the server, so I'm not current on anything, but why were trade shops disabled in the first place?
Yes, there are players running amuck all over the place. I've noticed. That also explain why buying things at trad shops has seemed like everyone is just out of things when they are usually full. I hope the fix is in soon. Best regards, code monkeys.
A reminder to please please please do not trade valuables by throwing them at each other! Ask a mod to do it through /invsee and if there is no mod online you can always set it up for a smod to process it for you without needing to be online. For example, both of you leaving your halves of the trade in chests on your own islands, and asking a smod in forum to transfer the items (make sure to provide full screenshots of trade agreement, and coordinates of chests)
t I haven't speculated the cause by any degree what-so-ever. I have only expressed my observation from the experience of noticing the effects fo the disabled trade shop status. Truthfully, I didn't realize at first that they were shut down. I was of the consideration that it had been a hot sales day and shops were just out of things until I showed up here and viewed this thread. I had to kinda laugh at my previous thoughts that builds and sales were up and I just wasn't arriving in time to find trades still in stock/in block, at the shops. It was still a fair day on the open trades, I to be fair. It was kinda a surprise, actually. It seems that if we are ever to know it will be in due course and revelation from the staff of Mods/Admins. I am a bit curious what the projected schedule, might be. Yet, open trading is fine if you can rise above the surface of comps and lotteries. Entrepreneurs Win!
