There are enough of these threads saying pretty much the same thing. I want the population to increase too but there isn't much we can do. Yes, you can still try and it may make a small difference but Skyblock will never be as popular as it once was.

Minecraft has been losing it's community steadily ever since it was sold to Microsoft...

minecraft isnt losing players, most players play on either console or mobile since its easier to access. if u look at minecraft sales across all platforms its actually increasing in popularity.

I was looking at the amount of people on PC servers. Perhaps I should amend my previous statement to say that Microsoft has focused more on console and mobile and let PC slide a bit.

i wouldnt say they let it slide theyre still working on it but theyre simply spreading their forces thin as more people move to console and mobile, plus pc doesnt have *payed dlc* like console does and mobile *might* have (not sure about mobile)

The reason for the downfall is because of the people and chat.

Sadly this is common on every forums I have seen. The threads are spammed everywhere. Minecraft is losing some of its popularity :/

Minecraft is less popular especially when people get older. People just get bored of it which is why you see long-time members just quit.

PE version has sold more this year than pc. also console versions have sold more. there are also some people going to realms to play with their friends. if they make xbox one & ps4 version capable of cross platform some of those users could play on pc servers but maybe you should petition mojang to do this. the only problem this server would have to get up to date since those versions dont allow going back to an older version.
