Hi! Welcome to my mod application! My name is Louie and I've been playing on this server since 2013. I'm currently in High School and usually come online, hang out and help some greenies after school when I'm done with APs. Throughout the past few years I've spent on SkyBlock, I've matured quit a bit from when I was a little 12 year old to today. Hope you enjoy my mod app!

Why do you think you should become a mod?
When I first joined this server, I had only one thing in mind: "Mind my own business and make the coolest island ever with my friend". Over the past few years, notably really in the first couple months of me playing, I acquired a thirst to play more and more and more and learned that SkyBlock.net isn't just about the island building part, a lot of the fun was from interacting with members of its community. Nevertheless, I started to interact with players gain friends, lose some... Then in 2015 my computer broke and I wasn't able to get it fixed or get a new one until recently, all that put aside, let's get into why I think I should become a mod:

Patience: I believe that being a moderator requires an enormous amount of patience. Anything involving other people usually involves patience;

Productive/Efficient: I'm a hard worker. I can be active for long hours helping people out in a friendly manner which brings me to my next point;

Tactful: I know what it's like to get griefed scammed, killed by lava etc on this server and know how bad it can feel when someone is able to take advantage of you. I believe I have the tact necessary in dealing with people who've recently had wrong done to them by a malicious player;

Humorous: It is important to also be happy, enjoy being on the server (which will result in the mod being on the server more). It is equally important to interact with the community, be active in chat and understand jokes;

Open-minded: I am unbiased when it comes to who to believe (ex: a scam with no proof). I am willing to look from different perspectives at things to solve them. I would not ban unless 100% sure. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty;

Logical: I have a acquired over the years the power of deduction. I can deduct facts from different statements from different players with ease.

Helpfulness: An predisposed key that must be achieved before ever becoming a mod. The purpose of a mod on a server is to restore order in chat, speak in the name of the ban hammer and be willing to stop whatever it is you are doing to help someone that needs you.

Social: It's really important to be social. As a mod I would interact with a lot people.

Respectful: I try to be as respectful to everyone as possible (even though I do admit, have a tendency to call everyone plebs, there is no malice intention and it's all for fun). I respect anyone's decision as long as it doesn't interfere with the rules of the server or doesn't purposefully interfere with someone else's island.
My Number 1 personal rule and favorite rule is respect. You can't grief someone's island without breaking this rule, you can't scam someone without breaking it. You can't do anything harmful without breaking it.

Compassionate: I truly love this server and always enjoy my time on here. I love just hanging out, talking to people I haven't seen in a while or just hanging out with ikillyou589 , Queen and TheOrangeAddict . I hope that when I show these new players how to do somethings that my love for this server will be transmitted to them.

Active: I am on a lot, I'm starting to be more and more active like I used to be.

Mature: Over the last two summers, I have matured quite a bit. Working a job at an payed internship and gaining a little salary was something I had never experienced before and it changed the way I looked at things. I'm going to be totally honest, I was very immature when I first joined 3 years ago.

Quick Learner: I can learn things quite easily and I have a pretty good memory.


How long can you be active on the server everyday?
I'm usually on from around 9pm to 12:00am (PST) on weekdays and a lot more on the weekends depending on the week end. A lot of the times when I'm at these late hours for my time zone, there tends to be no mods on except for maybe Wilbo who will pop on here and there.
Monday-Friday: 9pm to 12am PST
Saturday to Sunday: 6pm to 1am
(I'm more of a nocturnal player)

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
In November, It will be 3 years. I am quite familiar with the commands and the server in general.

Have you ever been banned in the past? (In-game)
I have been banned twice, one for greifing and another for being very close to the mod vault. I was able to find the Mod Vault with some friends (One of whom is a mod now, you know who you are ) and I got banned for being near it. I have learned from my mistakes and have been clean fro two years.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
To be honest no, but I do have experience as a leader, during my internship I mentioned earlier these last two summers, I worked at a fencing (the sport) camp and I was in charge of a bunch of little kids for a couple of weeks. I think that that experience could possibly aide me with my duties as a mod.
I have recently been playing around with LogBlock on another server and have been teaching myself how to use it yet I still have a good amount of stuff to learn!

I don't think it's the fun that people want it's the in part the power, the responsibility and the tittle that people really enjoy. I personally just want to get better tools to help peeps out!

honestly it doesn't matter what colours he uses, it's his application, his choice. Just the fact that there are like 5 different colours in the application bothers me, maybe just use 2 colours that are appealing. One for the questions and one for the answers.
