Ok this is complicated... First I would like to tag CypriotMerks on this.
Ok I know this is skyblock but I didn't have much of a chose since registering on mineverse is impossible. I don't remember if I have an account over there. If I did, it still would not matter since the /key command in the lobby is broken and I would not be able to recover the account.

I am an ex-guard (mod) from the "prison" server. I stopped playing a about 2 years ago?; and only started back up about a week ago.
Since I started I have been playing on "infection". I was banned for 4 week from the server; which is excessive and with bad judgement. The reason?

Now I don't know If any of you mods now much of the servers over on mineverse, but it is a last man standing game. Humans vs zombies. The game was going on and we got down to the last human.
Now here is were the mod took what I said out of contexts. I said "kill yourself" Meaning lets end the game and you will get your bonus level. It wasn't out of malice or anger. Shortly after I said that, he said "ok" and did that... "killed himself". We spawned in the waiting room and 10 seconds later I found my self kicked out of the server with a 4 WEEK BAN!

Thank you in advance. Hope to hear back from someone soon on this matter.
Also would like stealthynoob to be talked to about his poor judgement and learning "contexts".

• Why do YOU think you were banned? miss understanding of context

• Was this an incorrect ban? yes

• Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? nope and nope

• Why do you think you should be unbanned? above.

 

Unless the banning moderator has an account on these forums, your best chance of being unbanned is to find the moderator in-game or ask another player to find the moderator on the server you're banned on so that you can appeal.

 

I would have better luck catching CypriotMerks on skype then. Thanks for the reply.

Alright, another moderator here who also plays on mineverse may be able to help you out so I'll leave this open for now. You could also ask a friend if they would be willing to do that for you.

How frustrating... how am I suppose to appeal when registration is broken because of the token I need using /key?

So not at all... I am left with the only one option to talk with Cyp which I was hoping to avoid.
Did you let him know of the broken registration and recovery system atm since you need to be able to use the /key to get the token to be able to verify the account.

 

At least until I can register or get this resolved in someway.

 

Would you like me to try and contact him saying that you can't get on due to /key? If you'd like, I can make a convo. explaining how it is an incorrect ban as you should not have to wait out such a long ban for no reason. I know Boss appealed, but I'll just send him a PM and explain if you'd like.

I created an account on Mineverse. They fixed the key situation.

Also know why I don't have an account. mineverse didn't have a forum yet when I was mod.
