ive been browsing the big floating ball of numbers we call the internet and i found that it hasnt worked for some people who downloaded minecraft.msi. When opening minecraft launcher A small window opens with "unknown error" - Arqade :I WHAT DO I DOOOOO!?
It's a Standard Microsoft Install File (MicroSoftInstaller). You Need Windows installer to deploy the install Routine that Comes with a .msi file. But you should have the last version of the installer if you have any Windows OS from Windows 7 on. Otherwise you can download it from Microsoft.com. The fist .exe on the site given by Chshrawr
Did you install it with the .exe or with the .msi file? Anyway, I'd follow the Suggestion given to you by this message: uninstall + reinstall. If you installed it with .exe, go get Windows installer (I'm still wondering how you cannot have it since you have Window 10!) and try the .msi. If you used the .msi file, go get the .exe.
