Okay, not to be rude (truthfully I don't really care what I say, but trying to be nice here), but the forums and skyblock have been slowly going DOWNHILL as people got to know each other. Let's take a look at the statistics, shall we? Skyblock originally had a very nice and calm, happy community. Then as the years went on, it got more toxic.
Take note of how people post tons of irl pics in that thread, it might just be me, but if you've seen someone's face, and heard the way they talk (teamspeak), I think you know them decently well. Going off of that, I don't think that Skyblock is going to be fixed any time soon, seeing as we do know our mistakes, but I don't see many (only a small fraction are) trying to fix them.

 

But we're humans. We're all equal. And if we work together, we can fix it. But the reason it isn't fixed is because, and your post is evidence, we're not optimistic and attempting to. Instead of complaining about the community, try to dedicate your words to fixing it. By the way, you used the word statistics in the wrong context. Statistics are number, and you didn't use numbers. Goden I like skyblock cause my friend introduced me to this server but now he doesnt play anymore I still like it even though I get bored cause I made some friends whom I like (and have a couple of crushes ) Idk why you are saying that this server is wrong it is just fine. yes there are some bad things yes Krissy is in love with another mod and yes there are some biased things.

Well guess what Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat are the same sh** they both have some biased stuff like trump talking about building a f***ing wall. But at the same time people have been introduced to those social media and they have friends and they wont leave it because it is somewhat family to them.

However this is your opinion which I can totally accept. But we are just saying what needs to be said

You make some good points but not all of that is true. I would rethink and go over what you say before posting things that are very directing to some people.

 

We aren't all equal. I don't get why people say that. People have more money than other people, people are born with better shape and figures than others, people are born with more logical brains than others, and that puts things off balance. About this:

May I point out that those are gigantic social media services that are used globally by hundreds of millions of people. About one million people have heard of Skyblock, much less have joined it. I don't really think you can compare Skyblock to something of such a larger scale.

Thank you for directly opposing a point I made. I shouldn't have to be afraid of saying something because it might hurt someone, rather, I should just say it. Let me be me, let everyone on Skyblock have their own opinions and be free to say what they wish.

Anyway, I don't give up easily either, you can ask a lot of the people that know me well, but considering that the situation keeps getting worse rather than better no matter what seems to be happening, THAT'S when I give up. That's where I draw the line.

I wouldn't be the person to ask that. I don't have enough care anymore to help out, or to organize people in helping out.

At this point, my self appointed role is the spokesperson for everything that's wrong.

If you truly saw the community the same way I do, giving up no matter how hard it gets is never an option. I'm not one for patience, but when I see people as bright like this community.
I know it will lol be worth it in the end. Thus a hope that cannot be defeated is created amongst us all.

but I will admit I didn't read every comment on this thread and might be saying stuff other people said, but I wanted to say a little something myself anyways. First off, I was recently commenting on another thread that talked about flaws, not this in depth, but it's getting better. Guess what happened on that thread? Same thing that happened on this thread. How many posts does Krissy have on this thread? 1? That's what I thought. 1 post responding to an initial post before running away with her tail between her legs. That may sound rude, but it sure sounds to me like Krissy doesn't know how to have a formal debate. Goden makes his point. Krissy makes her point. Goden makes more points along with friends to strengthen his argument. Krissy....? Why does this happen? Fear of being wrong? What's wrong with being wrong? Sure most people don't like being wrong, but how else do you learn? I see this problem with a lot of mods. The "fear of being wrong". Where they continually will beat a dead horse just to try and be right. That could be fixed. Then we'd have mods that people actually enjoyed working with and playing with.


Now everyone that knows me well knows that I love a good debate/argument. Even so, I know that sadly, this thread won't accomplish anything. Why? For the same goddamn reasons this thread was made. It's really sad. How is this server/website supposed to get more people on it if it can't better itself? A great question indeed. I enjoyed reading this thread. Thanks for the good ideas Goden.

I made a thread for calling out Krissy for revenge rating me, I get about 6 dislikes in about 2 hours, and not even joking, some kid finds my YT channel and tells me to kill yourself for what you said to Krissy in a comment. Jesus Christ ppl

Fight, this thread wasn't made to help to help anything, this thread was made to make points known about what actually goes on. At this point, I legit could not care less about the community, it's getting screwed over anyway no matter what happens at this point. But you're welcome anyway.

 

I agree. There's nothing to stop the screwing over that will happen. If the administration was smart, they'd recognize points like the ones you've made on here, but they won't.
