Could it be that you go through the nether portal and your on that islands hellblock??

 

I mean that could be an idea, but I personally would like it as a separate server as that would change the economy extremely if that was the case

Yes, exactly. Items from the nether are very hard to attain right now and this would change that. Especially since the cobblestone equivalent in Hellblock is netherrack or whatever the red block everywhere in the nether is

As I said I never did get to witness the almighty hell...

block and well I could go experience it with 1 other person online, but really it should come back.
