Hello Players, Recently I was looking around the application and I found out that a lot of the application do not meet the requirements for becoming a Moderator. That's what this suggestion is about. I suggest when you try to create a Moderator Application to show show all requirements before allowing you to continue. So in that away if you don't meet the requirements you will not be allowed to make application. For example: Random players tries to make a Moderator Application but does not meet one of the requirements ( 50 Post Count ) When he click to create a thread this will show up: '''List of the requirements: 2 Weeks Register on forums - ✓ Two Factor Authentication - ✓ Having Skype or Teamspeak 3 for offline communication. - ✓ 50 Post Count - ✗ Please come back when you meet all the requirements, thank you. '' I think that will benefit the server. I think that is possible if you collect profile data of every user. Let me know your thoughts Best regards, Rolly
Eh I mean, it'd be helpful. But cyp wouldn't read their mod app if they don't meet the requirements... So it doesn't really matter in my opinion. I'll go neutral
Problem is to do this you will need a way to link certain requirements to it which is not possible and this would also require an addon which is not made or will cost money. Example while you could track forum requirements, ts is not linked with our forums and people use different screen recording software... how could it tell what you use? No no support. While the idea isn't bad, the execution is too difficult and not possible for the forums.
How about you just make them read it before posting their app. So all the post farming replies would be redundant.
well, then they shouldn't be mod. it's like social Darwinism. if they can't figure out how/be bothered to read the requirements, they are not qualified to be a mod.
you can't be new to forums and apply. you have to have 50 posts to have a valid application. and read the post above.
Yes, we know that they are not qualified, but there are still people who post and others who post-farm saying you don't meet requirements and it's all a mess that would most likely be fixed by just a popup.
or just use common sense and don't post farm, actually give feedback on how to improve and meet the reqs.
I believe what you're saying is someone who does not meet the requirements can comment on other people's applications, but they cannot create their own until they meet the requirements. Maybe the create thread can be gone until they meet the requirements and there would be a little message at the top for a link to see the requirements. (Links are the same for org and net)
