I do not know if I can even be helped here.... I had a friend join my island a few days ago by using the /coop command. He was able to accept the invite, and became able to build on my island, while still having his own island. He has since left my island and started his own. I wanted to coop with him on his island. He just did the /coop invite for me and I accepted. it said "The command failed due to an internal/unknown error." My island has been lost, along with all of my items. Is there any way to be comp'd for this loss, seeing as it was a server error? Please help me.. I lost so much with this error.
You should never be able to have more than one island at any given time unless you have alternate accounts. Because you accepted the coop request, your island was lost due to your own actions rather than a server error. Are you sure you didn't make use of the /trust command, which would allow the player to build on your island whilst still having his own?
If you did /coop accept, your inventory automatically is cleared, and your island gets destroyed. Even if you don't successfully join the invitee's island. If you were to join his or her island successfully, everything still would've been lost. Maybe you didn't know it would do that?
I feel so bad what happend to you, watch out next time. Can you tell me what specific items you had? I can refund you if I have some of those items. Let me know what items you lost, I will do my best to refund them.
I had this happen to me once. I remember I wanted to coop with the player just to troll him. It's all your fault that u didn't ask someone. Better luck next time!
