So this is basically a trapped chest - Tradeshop, right?

The redstone Signal could be used for bad things. Here a few examples.

1. You could make a Tradeshop that retracts Pistons which removes the floor under the customer / victim, dropping him into the void. Of course this is bannable, but still.
2. You already talked about the illegal trades. Yes you now can make a simple pressure plate to make a dropper drop the illegal stuff. But you cannot set up a trade. With that System, you could actually ask for grass or anything and therefore AFK-Trade illegal stuff. Again, this is bannable and easerly reported, but still.
3. Last but not least, you could scam. Intentionally AND not (and therefore in case of a report / ban pretend it wasn't intentional). How does the trade chest know that the dropper is empty / doesn't contain the right good? The dropper gets a Signal just saying a trade took place in the trade chest or that there is something in the chest or whatever, and then Drops whatever is inside it. It can be anything or nothing.

I throw this in and will wait for reply before I make up my mind on this Suggestion.

One of the greatest ideas I've read in a long time that solves a major problem

 

Support! It would be great having note blocks play when someone buys something. The possibilities are endless! Well, you only get a 99x99 island, but you get what I mean...

This is a good idea because you can purchase entry to areas using a tradeshop and don't need somebody to be online to open the door.

 

Lock this, it's still a great suggestion in my eyes but it would just make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

 

How, exactly?

 

Rich(er) people could have casinos or other running up 24/7. Tradeshops is a great example, as how I explained in my other thread 'How Skyblock is dooming itsself'. You can see how big donor tradeshops get bigger with massive supply while little ones cannot resupply and have worse deals. This is just another version of that, which I personally don't wish to happen.
