Ok, I see what your saying, but still, you gained over 160 messages in less than a week, which is what I consider post farming. Is it ok if I get a mods opinion on this?

160 messages in a week isn't really post farming. It sometimes just shows you are active on threads and actually engaged in them. What is post farming, is posting another post continuously one after the other, and just commenting "support" or something without a reason. They gave a rating for a reason to prevent this.
Editing a message doesn't make your thread go to the top of the forums section that you're in, while posting does. I see no issue with what JB has been doing. It would only be bad if it were solely for the purpose of increasing his message count. I do not think that this is the case. ----- Really, one could make the argument that you, skizzors, are trying to increase your post count. This issue could have been easily resolved in a PM. Although, whatever is posted in a PM does not add to one's overall messages. You're kind of being a hypocrite right now.
And can you distinctly prove or disprove that his posting in trading threads was for the purpose of increasing his message count and not for bumping his threads? All that tells me is he's aiming to get 1,000 messages. That tells me nothing about his intentions. You're the one that's jumping to conclusions.

^ Dough - Then a lot of applications, trading threads, discussion threads, etc. would just fall to later pages. The rule mainly is for spam prevention, I believe. There are exceptions. skizzors - I see; you have a point. Whatever the case, the purpose of this thread has been achieved. You have brought this issue to Jb's attention and he is now conscious of it. I don't see any reason in keeping this thread open (although, for starters, I don't see any reason for this thread to have existed in the first place when it should have been brought to PM).
He is adding legitimate information to his thread. I don't see a huge issue with this kind of thing on a trade thread unless he does the same on every single thread. It is preferable if he is the last poster on the thread to edit rather than post another post.
Not illegal so who cares. Why waste precious time being concerned with simple things when you could be enjoying another post or playing the servers. Forums are a place to have fun and let go. If he likes posting that way then let him have at it. XD
Alright guys. Do you really need this open? There is nothing wrong with what he did and there are other ways to solve things apart from these types of calling players out threads. If you want opinions on what is considered post farming, just ask that.
Yes you can update your thread, just use the edit function when necessary. This issue is solved technically so any other posts won't really impact anything.
