I am creating this thread, because I think there should be added Donor Prefixes on forums. If you do not know what I mean every single Mod (T-Mod,Mod,S-Mod) has prefix on forums as well in-game.
Here is an example of all 3 different Mod prefixes:
Prefix for Trial Moderator
Prefix for Full Moderator
Prefix for Super Moderator
It would be pretty useful to add Donor prefixes to the forums. I think it is not that hard to add, because there is a plugin where when you log in-game you have to type /register <email> or <password>. When you type it and register on forums you have to type same email or password add the prefix will be added.

OK, but you realize that we can tell mods apart by their prefix colors. Tmods are dark aqua, fmods are red and smods are purple.

 

Yeah it was just an example. Donor prefixes should be with the color in-game. Do you support this suggestion or not ?

 

I do and I don't. While I think that would be useful, I can already tell mods apart.

 

Never thought of that. Oh well I guess you are right. There may be a way where even after you have register your rank to be applied but I don't know

Nah lol. No Support. It's pretty useless stating our donor rank, imo. Mods have their tag cause they need to be identified as a mod for players to know who to contact for help regarding the server.

Support. May not be needed but the same can be said for /island kick and bottling xp (Korangar) but it would be nice to have.

 

no real reason for it, not to mention how hard this would be to implement, considering the amount of donors already registered. there have also been no valid arguments regarding how this would be at all useful. it would also filter out the moderators slightly.

 

No support, my main reason is, is that Buycraft isn't associated with XenForo so the tags would have to be given to the players manually. And at least over half the community is a donator. Also, people might get confused with the moderator tags and it's a lot easier now to spot a moderator than how it would be if we all had a tag for our rank.

I doubt XenForo is linked with BuyCraft.
While you could make something to gather a list of donors from BC and update a variable here with that, that's a lot of work for something that is not needed.
Plus, there are different donor ranks on the two servers. And what if you're a donor on both servers? You'd have 2 tags? That wouldn't work so well.

 

Donor ranks are not forum ranks. Donor ranks are only for in-game.
