on a slightly different topic - maybe this was Mojangs intention with realms? instead of big packed servers, a small realm for people from a server that wanted to stick together
In the whole "will org go down" idea - maybe this is a solution. if org as a server goes down; have a realm instead, for people who are just there for the people.

With .net yet alone mineverse which have a lot of players- with the addition of the other servers between Noob and Cyp, I don't think that they'll be bothered to keep it running for very long

I agree .ORG player base has fallen a lot in the last few months.
That happens, because the ip for .ORG (Skyblock.org) doesn't work anymore ( For me at least ). I think .ORG should be a whole different economy Skyblock server from .NET. It is not good having 2 servers in one. Most of the players don't even know about .ORG. I know there is a Broacast message for .ORG but no one sees it.
Our economy server should be separated from our survival server and this switching from .NET to .ORG by typing /survival or /economy should be disabled.
It will be better if there is Broadcast on both servers. For example for Skyblock.org
" Come visit our survival Skyblock server - SkyBlock.net "
For example for Skyblock.net
" Come visit our Economy server - Skyblock.org "
I think that would make both servers more popular. I don't think it is hard to have 2 servers. Crew can be the Owner of .ORG and Cyp to be the owner of .NET.
Just a suggestion that I would love to see to be added.

 

It doesn't work because you selected survival in the /servers menu.
It works if you select economy and then log in to it.

Honestly, the most likely reason ORG would shut down is a system failure.

 

I wouldn't really care if org got shut down, I find it just being an unpopulated clone, no offence.

I actually wanna start playing org, I'd enjoy playing on a less crowded community, sorry If I confused anyone with my previous statement :2
