Hello, I am making this suggestion for personal uses. Lately I have been to other's island's while my island is unlocked. I could be making a trade or something that is important. I would like to know who is at my island so I don't have to go back to check. I was thinking if you are at a warp, or another island you could do a command like /near Island so it views who is at your island, and the distance away. This command will let you see the distance from the players, I know there is a limit on how far /near can go, but they could make it so /near island can view the distance from wherever you are and can only view your island. You could also have a toggle to turn on or off to make other people see who is on your island. This is not needed, but it could help a little bit. If you want to view lets say who is on Krissy's island you can do /near Krissy_x and it would view their island. Of course that player (Krissy) can toggle if they want people to see if people are on their island or not. This can be quite useful to players, while they aren't at their island and want to see what people are up to. Please comment if you have any questions once so ever.
You can only view your island or other player's if they have it on. You can do /near island to see who's on your island or do /near <player> to see who is on their island, the island owner can toggle the command so no one or everyone can see who's on their island.
Wouldn't it be more easy just to give everyone the command? There isn't a need to make it all difficult.
Everyone has the command to view other people's islands with the command (if it's added /near <player>) to view who's at their island. All I was saying that the island owner can toggle the command on or off so other players would be able or not able to see it.
Oh, you're saying that island owners and coop members can only /near on their island, no where else. Lol, no support.
No, I was saying any one can do /near <player> or /near island to see who's on other player's islands or your island. Anyone can do the command. Only island owners can toggle the command on or off if you understand. You also can do it anywhere, you can do the command at warps, islands, etc.
The way you explained it is kinda confusing. Overall I think I got your main point and I like the idea. As of for now I am going with support.
It won't happen, because it isn't necessary. If you have a problem with people using /near on your island you can /lock it. This isn't needed.
I'm pretty sure that's not what he's saying I think the idea is that you can do /near island, while you are not currently at your island to see who is on your island. So you don't have to do /home to check who's there.
That is a better way than I said. You can also do /near <player> to see who's at someone else's island without checking with going to the player's island then doing /near. This command can be quite useful for mods to see who is on other's island's, so if there is an issue they can see who's on someone else's island without going to their island if they are busy.
