3*3 horizontal piston door I wanted to show people this design because I thought it was cool so here is a design for a 3*3 horizontal piston door. The door was made to be "skyblock" friendly as long as you have aces to Redstone, pistons and slime. So it was made with limited resources in mind. Sadly, it is still rather expensive, I'm sure it could be less expensive but I’m still just starting in the Redstone domain. (If anyone can compact it or make it more efficient please contact me). I designed it mostly on my one only looking at a few YouTube videos for certain Redstone mechanisms. It was a rather complicated build especially all of the timings. It is not really flush with the ground because it forms a dip, sadly I couldn’t find a fix for that. On the pictures the different colours of wool signify different parts of the build: -green: the inputs -blue: a system for the order of the pulses for opening and closing the door correctly -white: the main opening line - orange the central block mechanism REPETEARS -Blue repeaters: all on 4 ticks and flow the direction of the Redstone -White repeaters: 4 ticks in front of piston -Orange repeaters: -signal strength -2 ticks RESOURCES Redstone: 113 Redstone repeaters: 10 Redstone torches: 3 piston sticky: 10 slime balls: 2 pressure plates: 3 per input furnace: 11 Redstone blocks: 3 +building blocks you may need more or less but this is a good estimate -I tested this in Minecraft 1.9 and 1.10. -If you have any questions about this build, please ask me in the comments. -To see some screenshots of this creation, follow this link to my imgur: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet I'm not sure where the best place to put this thread so if I put it in the wrong section please feel free to tell me/move it. french_player_ . You have missed one more thing to correct . It is not Repeters it is correct to be Repeaters.
Probably in parts, the mechanism for the centre block is based on a jeb door. But I didn't think about it when I was building it.
