You may have noticed the twitter update about mod app plagiarism which states: For those who are unaware of what plagiarism is, it is the act of copying another persons work; generally without permission. Also illegal is what is referred to as Plagiaphrasing. This means taking a paragraph or sentence and only changing a few words to make it different. Example below: While Skyblock does not enforce a punishment for plagiarism we consider it illegal. You are not permitted to copy another person's moderator application and use it as your own. You should be writing original applications which reflect you and using other applications for inspiration on what to include in your own application. There are guides out there that can help you write one from scratch. Plagiarised apps will never be accepted. If your application is plagiarised the main post will be reverted back to before it was copied or completely edited with a note in the application stating it was copied for all players to see. A plagiarised app can be also locked. As a general note please do not copy other people's work on these forums and pass them off as your own. peace.
No, because that rule is mineverse specific. If it involved skyblock it would say "Mineverse ad Skyblock: blah blah"
You really shouldn't do that. It is more appreciated if you just edit your old application. But even then, it doesn't matter, if it's your own moderator application.
It is necessary as people get confused despite the attempt to label what is mineverse and what isn't. Doesn't matter if there is a punishment or not, a notice is a notice.
