I have seen so many people die from that over the past years including me when I first joined. I believe like Krissy said, they can somehow take no fall damage when they spawn at /spawn or anywhere at /spawn. I have seen buckets and illegal items dropped from killed players and that can lead to illegal trading/give. When no one is at /spawn they can just jump off the edge then do /spawn and die and get someone they know to pick up their illegals. Someone stated that they can just do /home, some players when they join do not know how to get to their island, but most players know what /spawn is so they would type that command instead. This is an issue that has to be fixed.

Support. Although the people who die are technically at fault, others waiting around just to collect stuff is illegal. Also, fixing the problem is quite simple to do. But I just normally surrender the items to a mod if I ever accidentally pick up any.

This is a SURVIVAL server. It's the person's fault for doing /spawn.
