Lately I have been building a large castle at my future shop island (visit Mrshop). Now, due to my inability to fly (I am not a donor) I need to pillar around (Stack blocks underneath myself) in order to do detail work at heights above my reach. This is usually not an issue. The issue is that the server has banned me multiple times while I am doing it. I assume there are some lag fluctuations that occur while I am placing blocks and moving in the air that make the server anti-cheat plugins think I am flying. But this makes building (on a sometimes tight schedule) a huge pain. They are temp bans and really are not a big deal (30 minute bans). I am making a post now because this is probably the 7th-10th time it has happened to me in my time on this server. (Second time this week). I am sure this has happened to many other people and it is a serious problem that should be addressed.
They are console bans. If you dont have fly and yoh do things like pillar or run over slabs or lag it will thinj you are flying and give you a temp ban.
If this happens again in the future, wait a minute and try relogging since moderators unban console bans but cannot notify you that you've been unbanned. If there wasn't a moderator online to unban you when it happened, post an appeal on the forums and a moderator may be able to get in-game to unban you before the ban expires.
East Coast United States, I got banned Twice in the past few hours today. It gets really annoying but I deal. I'm on in the afternoon.
It's very unlikely that it'll be removed or fixed: if there was a fix, the issue would have been resolved long time ago. On the other hand, if console bans were completely removed less people would buy /fly because they could freely use cheats to do it, therefore Console Bans are likely to stay :/.
