And yes, I read the title.

    - What was the best experience? Collecting all the illegal items from island farming and terraforming with soulsand.

    - The worst? Core protect failing to rollback certain bridges and having to manually break them.

    - How long did it take you to really get mod? My application was open for 2 months, was a trial mod for a few months although not even half as long as abolduc02, was a full mod for less than 24 hours, and I don't remember how long I was an smod for.

    - If you quit... What was the reason? Hellblock moved to Mineverse and it wasn't the same/I never got forums perms there

    - What was the hardest part about it? GG Larry | Skyblock Forums

    -what was the best experience?:

Talking to staff and making friends.

    -the worst?

There really isn't a point worst point I can remember. Well... one time this person mistook a block of wood for a spawner.. It took me awhile to fully explain it wasnt. Long story short I disappointed that guy..

-how long did it take you to really get mod?

2 months after I got tmod I was promoted to full moderator. It took me about two weeks to be confident in my modding style.

-if you quit... What was the reason?:

I resigned because my mother had major health issues that at the time needed my full attention. (It's better now).

-what was the hardest part about it?

Resigning. I was a moderator a year and a half and logged on 6 hours daily. It litterally was my whole life, staff and players were my only friends. It was very hard to make the decision to leave my second life behind to go back to one that had nothing for me.

    -what was the best experience?
I think the best experiences have been being promoted... each and every single promotion. Yes its a little self centred and maybe some might be expecting me to say helping others. I wouldn't be here if I didn't want to help the community however the joys of new permissions, new responsibility and the recognition of hard work was always the best experience.

    -the worst?
Being in the spotlight, rumours and reports. There is no worse feeling than having a bunch of rumours spread about you, putting you in the spotlight and having to defend against rumours even if you really don't wish to. Sometimes you want to let things die but someone out there will want to destroy you. It happens when you are not a mod to but as a mod it is harder to hide.

-how long did it take you to really get mod?
It took me 4 months from the submission of my mod app.

-if you quit... What was the reason?
I resigned due to stress and family issues which got resolved quicker than i imagined.

-what was the hardest part about it?
Trying to moderate to the best of your ability.
It is difficult sometimes to try and help people while other people cannot seem to behave themselves. Then try and enforce rules when all people want to do is argue despite being in the wrong. When players think they know the rules better that you. It is challenging to be a mod now, and was much easier back when I first started when there were less than 10 "difficult people" to have dealt with.
I feel like a grandma sometimes but kids and teens lack respect. Just because it is the internet doesn't mean its an excuse for poor behaviour.

What was the best experience? Working hard to earn each position I was promoted to and offered.
The worst? Getting doxed multiple times.
How long did it take you to really get mod? 26 days.
If you quit... What was the reason?
    1. Resigned the first time because I didn't enjoy moderating in-game anymore and at the time I was suffering really badly from a fallout with a friend.
    2. Resigned the second time because I completely didn't like moderating anymore.
What was the hardest part about it? I honestly didn't find moderating difficult. The hardest part was probably trying to moderate when you simply had no motivation to.

    • My best experience was definitely getting to know the staff team. I made a lot of new friends some personally too. It was a great experience.
    • The worse was probably having to deal with bridges. Donors would fly around finding bridges for us to destroy and I hated it. It would take up to 20 minutes for each bridge. These bridges weren't typical, they connected to like over 40 islands. There were times where I asked other donors in helping me destroy them.
    • Eh I don't remember how long it took me, I guess I have to look at my mod app and update this later. I believe it was about 4 months?
    • I resigned mostly because of the stress it put on me. When I was a mod I got on for hours on end and I felt like no other mod was helping me. At times I was the only mod on trying to deal with a server with 500 people (and yes the server actually had 500 people on at times). I felt like it wad a burden on me, but I loved helping people. That is until school was coming around and I knew I had to resign.
    • Oh my gosh LOGS were the worse. I can not tell you enough how much I hated them. Of course I knew they were there to help us mod, but I felt like I didn't need them. After many mods urging me to do them, I created 30 logs one day and never came back to them. And man I dealt with so many scams and griefs back in the day so logs were a pain in the butt. Now with island protection and all it doesn't seem so stressful.

Best experience: I'd say finally being trusted. As a greenbean, donors don't trust you and as a donor, greenbeans don't trust you. As a moderator, everyone trusts you, and specifically in my position, even the people who were problematic for others trusted me and were easy for me to have a conversation with. I could make friends with pretty much anyone without any prior reservations.
Worst experience: Moderators turning against me. None of the Moderators agreed with me on anything and it got to the point where I was called a "heartless" "d!ck" (two different people) and whenever I tried to have a civil discussion, they would say "Oh boy, here comes another Sleepy rant." They refused to communicate and mostly did what they wanted because they thought they had that power.
How long did it take me to get moderator: About a week lol, I was actually one of the first trial moderators ever.
Why I quit: The aforementioned animosity from other moderators. We were blackmailed into submission and pitted against each other by our superiors. On one occasion, I remember a moderator being demoted over a single confidential Skype message because someone tattled. It made it impossible to have a solid team of moderators. On top of that, see next part.
Hardest part: There was no way to do anything as a moderator. Logblock never held anything, so we had to default to screenshots, which then ended up being videos, which became nothing at all whatsoever. We were essentially chat moderators, feelings police. I signed up to punish thieves and make the community a better place, to make people happy. At the end, I couldn't refund, I couldn't punish anyone, and I couldn't satisfy anyone.

    -what was the best experience?

Honestly Moderating with the other Mods and having fun while doing so was the best part. Especially when I first got Mod and spent a lot of time with the other Mods and how they helped me, etc. It's also when I got promoted to Full Mod which felt amazing lolol

    -the worst?

Getting hated on for no apparent reason or for doing my job lmfao

-how long did it take you to really get mod?

    A month and a half

-if you quit... What was the reason?

First time I resigned was because I had a lot of stuff going on that I wanted to take care of.

And the second time, I told people it's cause I didn't want to be a Mod or I just didn't like it anymore, but it's actually because at the time I was struggling with school, and It was hard moderating in my timezone as I was one of the only few mods who came on at the time, or the only mod sometimes which was quite hard to handle.

-what was the hardest part about it?

I didn't find anything about it difficult, only when I was the only Mod online while chat was blowing up and like 200 people were messaging me at once.

    :p

    -what was the bestexperience?
Best experience you ask? It would defiantly being able to connect and socialize with the staff team. Talking with them and moderating with them is always a blast.

    -the worst?
I would have to say tracking down and finding specific banners. Yeah, it's a very tedious job.

-how long did it take you to really get mod?
    1 year and 39 days :p.

-what was the hardest part about it?
Keeping up with chat, helping multiple players, and replying to countless amounts of private messages all at the same time xD.

-if you quit... What was the reason?
I resigned to spend more time with family. To catch up with what was happening.
-what was the hardest part about it?

To have 2 players messaging you at the same time and messaging the players the wrong answer :-:.

    - Meeting a whole group of great people
    - Having to deal with players that give you a hard time
    - about 4 months
    - I didn't; but if I did, it would be because of minor health issues or inactivity
