    I just spent the last 2 hours getting items to make a redstone ***** (can't say) and I get done carving out the outer layer and I fine out you can't place RAILS. Why just tell me why. You can place Powered rails but not rails?? vovo please fix.

    Placing rails was disabled because a while back players found a way to dupe rails and exploited it.

    There's nothing wrong with having a lot of rails, but duping is still wrong. If players think it's okay to dupe rails, they would think it would be okay to dupe any other item should a glitch be found.

    A redstone what? I'm interested. Oh and by the way, you can place any other type of rail. Just not normal ones.

    Rails were disabled because of a chest looting bug actually.
    Rail duping is not permitted. Rails are somewhat valuable being made of 6 iron other rails need gold which is also a little pricey.
    And yes, I would like to know what you were making out of redstone. If it was any duplicator it may not be allowed and get you in trouble.

    I used to have a roulette where you have chests next to rails that form a circle then you put a minecart on it then use a lever to stop and start it and the chest the cart stops in front of was the number that won. Pretty basic stuff

    There's a number of randomizers that don't use minecarts or rails.
