First off, this thread is about sharing your retro video game consoles but if you don't have one, I guess you could review your Xbox 1 or something. You don't have to have a full on review of one like I wrote below, you can just share a couple of pics of it or even just tell me what you have! Yesterday I got an original PlayStation at the local antiques shop! Before I show you pics, I just want to say that this was truly a revolutionary game console. It wasn't the first CD-based console (Sega Genesis 32X) but it definitely popularized it, like which modern console today uses cartridges anymore? It was the first in a series of absolutely amazing consoles, including the Ps2, the best selling console of all time! It also introduced the DualShock controller which is used in every PlayStation console now (the one I bought had original controllers)! Alright now that I have that settled, lets review MY PlayStation [WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IMAGES AREN'T THE BEST QUALITY] This is what the original PlayStation looked like. The style has clearly changed overtime. This is the back of the console. This is where the wires led to of course This is the controller that came with it. The controller connects into the port on the front where memory cards would also go. Of course you can probably tell this isn't a DualShock controller because that came a couple years later for the PlayStation. There was a button you had to press down for CD access. Nowadays you just slide her in there and it's automatic.
