Like somewhere in the status update sidebar.

Yep,
It would reduce confusion with people asking "who is this?"

 

All Sean would have to do is ask Cypriot to allow users one name change per 30 days(with moderator approval) instead of the settings he has now.
It's super simple.
It would also free up Sean to take care of all his other duties as forums administrator.

Sean is the forums administrator here and I would support whatever decision he would like. Having this set up on MV was helpful for me given I work for other servers. Sean's case is different.
