If I say in chat "Selling fake rare keys for grass msg me offers" and somebody wants to buy them from me and they do is that scamming? I'm curious it did not happen to me.

 

Nope, as long as you disclose they are fake.

 

Like Rocket said, if you say they are fake, then it's not scamming and fully legal.

 

Wouldn't it just be better to call them by their real name tho.. ._.

 

Yeah like the others said, as long as you say it's fake and you do the trade, it's no scam because unless they read it wrong, which you wouldn't be at fault for, they would know what they're getting.

I'm pretty sure a scam would more or less be if you were to offer a trade, they give their side of the trade and you don't give your side of the trade. One side loses and the other gains, that's at least how I see a scam. Basically like a fraud.

 

How about

"selling tripwire hooks"

Problem solved.

 

Though, as its been stated already, its not illegal, however I agree with Frederic.. Just call them tripwire hooks. XD Itll probably save you some potential trouble in the future.
